Here’s what we know…

Hollywood megastar and former WWE wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has just announced that he is no longer interested in running for president in 2024.

According to Fox, after years of hinting at the idea to run for president, The Rock has just confirmed that political aspirations are now behind him and he wants to take more care of his family.

Johnson told reporters, “It’s off the table. It is off the table. I’ll say this because it requires the B-side to this: I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy. And that’s the most important thing to me, being a daddy. Number one. Especially during this time, this critical time in my daughters’ lives.”

While it isn’t really ideal for Hollywood movie stars to run for the presidency it’s clear that anyone would be a better option than President Biden who is on the verge of starting world war III.

The Rock recalled working for several years and being “so busy that I was absent for a lot of years” in his children’s lives. He also likely doesn’t want to face the attacks from mainstream media if he does something that the Democrats won’t like as president.

This decision to end his presidential aspirations comes after a 2021 interview with USA Today where he said he would run if the American people wanted him to.
