Democrats are losing their minds.
At a recent rally, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley took aim at Elon Musk, calling him an unaccountable billionaire with too much power. She criticized Musk for his wealth and influence, stating that he is not a figure elected by the American people and that he treats the country as if it were his personal playground. Pressley specifically targeted Musk’s business ventures, including his much-debated Cybertruck, accusing him of dismantling things for profit without regard for their value or impact.
Pressley also led a chant during the rally, calling for Musk to “go,” a clear message of disdain for his influence. This was just one of many moments where she has spoken out against Musk, framing him as a destructive force with unchecked power.
In addition to her rally remarks, Pressley took to social media, further criticizing Musk’s impact. She suggested that Musk’s actions have caused harm and chaos wherever he’s involved, even mocking his recent focus on financial matters unrelated to his core businesses.
Meanwhile, Musk, who has supported conservative causes, is currently leading an initiative called the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which aims to uncover wasteful government spending. His team, including government experts, is working to review government systems to improve efficiency, without violating privacy or targeting private financial data.
Despite the controversy surrounding his influence, Musk’s efforts in government efficiency are being applauded by some, particularly conservatives, as a necessary step toward rooting out corruption and improving government operations. This stands in contrast to the criticism from figures like Pressley, who view Musk’s rise to power and his conservative alliances with skepticism.
