WASHINGTON — In a chilling interview on Fox News’ Hannity, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, a trusted Trump ally and former Secret Service agent, issued a blunt warning: America faces a perfect storm of threats, from AI-driven terror and Chinese espionage to border infiltration and lawless drone attacks.
“The daily threat briefings are overwhelming,” Bongino told Sean Hannity. “If the American people saw what we see, they’d be stunned. Our nation is facing dangers like never before.”
Appointed to his post by President Trump, Bongino is spearheading efforts to rebuild trust in law enforcement while confronting what he calls the “most volatile security environment in decades.”
“We’re dealing with enemies who use artificial intelligence, weaponized drones, and open borders to weaken America,” Bongino said. “It’s nonstop—and getting worse.”

Speaking to new graduates of the FBI Academy earlier that day, Bongino stressed that no superhero or government savior is coming.
“The Marvel Avengers aren’t walking through that door,” he said. “It’s up to us—the American people—to protect this country.”
Alongside FBI Director Kash Patel, Bongino emphasized their shared mission: law enforcement reform and national security defense, all rooted in America First values.
“Without transparency and reform, the public won’t trust us—and without that trust, we can’t win this fight,” Bongino said.
