Trump hasn’t forgotten what the mainstream media especially CNN did to him.
Once again, President Trump proves why he’s a force to be reckoned with in the world of diplomacy and media.
During a recent media session in the Oval Office, President Trump didn’t hold back when CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins attempted to challenge him on his views regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin. Her attempt to press him on whether Putin truly desires peace with Ukraine quickly backfired.
Trump was already answering another question about Putin’s intentions when Collins interrupted him, demanding to know if he trusted the Russian leader. Without missing a beat, the president quipped, “I know Biden is a close ally of yours.”
He went on to slam CNN, saying, “He is an ally of CNN. That is why no one watches CNN anymore. It’s due to the fact that they have zero credibility.” His sharp words sparked laughter in the room, showing just how much his straightforward style resonates with the American people—especially when it’s directed at biased media outlets like CNN.
Collins, who has long been a target of Trump’s witty remarks, tried to corner him on issues like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies. Last month, she asked Trump if his suggestion that DEI policies contributed to a tragic plane crash in Washington, D.C. would offer comfort to the victims’ families. Trump wasted no time in dismissing her question, replying, “I think that’s not a very smart question,” before adding, “I’m surprised, coming from you.”
This exchange is just another reminder that President Trump doesn’t shy away from calling out the liberal media for their lack of credibility. Whether it’s CNN or other mainstream outlets, Trump continues to push back against their biased narratives, reminding them that the American people see through their agenda. It’s clear that Trump is not just fighting for America’s interests but for truth in the media.
