Here’s what happened.
Denver, CO — Popular financial expert Dave Ramsey issued a scathing warning to lawmakers this week, urging Washington to stop the endless gridlock and let hardworking Americans keep more of their money.
🔥 “Do your job,” Ramsey demanded. “Pass a bill that protects our paychecks and helps us grow the economy. It’s not rocket science.”
Ramsey’s remarks came during the EntreLeadership Summit, where hundreds of small business owners gathered to share strategies—and frustrations—with federal overreach, rising taxes, and economic uncertainty.
🚨 Small Business Under Siege
Ramsey, the CEO of Ramsey Solutions, pointed directly at what he sees as the biggest threat to the American economy: Washington’s war on small business.
“They say they support Main Street,” Ramsey said, “but every regulation, every tax hike, every delay proves otherwise.”
Ramsey applauded President Donald Trump’s newly passed House bill, calling it a long-overdue effort to restore financial freedom and spur job creation. But he warned it must get through the Senate quickly to avoid further damage.
💼 Predictable Policy = Economic Growth
According to Ramsey, economic unpredictability—from tariffs to shifting regulations—is what’s truly “killing” small businesses.
“We don’t care what the rate is—we just need to know what the rules are,” he explained. “If I know the costs, I can plan. If I don’t, I lose money, jobs, and opportunity.”
Ramsey emphasized that small businesses thrive in stable, low-tax environments with minimal red tape—something the Trump administration has consistently fought for.
🇺🇸 Trump’s Economic Agenda: “America First, Always”
While critics complain about tariffs, the Trump White House remains firm: Fair trade is essential for rebuilding American manufacturing, boosting U.S. wages, and restoring national sovereignty.
“Tariffs are a tool,” a White House statement reads, “to level the playing field, protect our workforce, and finally put America first.”
Ramsey echoed those sentiments, urging lawmakers to stop delaying and start delivering. “Cut the politics and let the American people win for a change.”
