Like he stands a chance.
In a downright idiotic new move, Trump’s former national security adviser and known traitor John Bolton appears to have announced his 2024 presidential run while in a foreign country.
According to the NYPost, Bolton hinted at his 2024 run while heavily criticizing former President Donald Trump and saying that his chances of winning the 2024 GOP nomination was in a “terminal decline”.
“I wouldn’t run as a vanity candidate. If I didn’t think I could run seriously then I wouldn’t get in the race,” Bolton said while on “Good Morning Britain”.
“I would get in to win the nomination and I would do it primarily on the basis that we need a much stronger foreign policy,” Bolton added.
This isn’t the first time that Bolton has hinted at running for the presidency in 2024.
In the past Bolton said he was considering it and explained, “If I don’t see that, I’m going to seriously consider getting in. I think to be a presidential candidate you can’t just say, ‘I support the Constitution.’ You have to say, ‘I would oppose people who would undercut it.’”
Bolton warned that Trump’s popularity is quickly fading and said, “I think Trump’s support within the party itself is in terminal decline.”
As you likely already know, Trump fired Bolton in 2019 over constant clashes the two men were having over issues such as North Korea and Afghanistan.
