Will Trump meet with Biden before leaving the White House?
It is now being reported that President Donald Trump will likely leave the White House on Inauguration Day, January 20th, the morning of Biden’s Inauguration ceremony.
According to Reuters, President Trump will not attend Biden’s inauguration and is planning a farewell ceremony at Joint Base Andrews. President Trump is likely to not have any conversations with Joe Biden or Kamala Harris.
Sources also told Reuters that plans could change but it’s unclear if President Trump will give a speech on the 20th.
After his farewell ceremony, Trump will then fly to his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, while Biden gets sworn into the presidency as America’s 46th president.
Reuters further reported, “Some advisers have been urging the president to host Biden for a White House meeting ahead of Inauguration Day, but there has been no sign Trump is willing to do that, an administration official said.”
