Trump Jr Says His Father Quitting

America is and hopefully will stand firmly for Ukraine.

President Donald Trump may be preparing to walk away from the never-ending Ukraine conflict, according to a striking new statement from his son, Donald Trump Jr. His comments come as yet another attempt to negotiate peace shows no real movement—despite billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars already spent since Russia’s 2022 invasion.

Trump Jr. didn’t mince words. He blasted the deep corruption inside Ukraine’s government, questioned the country’s leadership under President Volodymyr Zelensky, and made it clear that most Americans simply do not see Ukraine as a priority compared to the crises happening here at home.

According to Trump Jr., the American people are focused on inflation, border security, crime, drug trafficking, and the economy—not foreign wars with no end in sight.

Trump Jr: “My Father Might Walk Away”

Speaking at the Doha Forum in Qatar, Trump Jr. was asked whether President Trump might decide to step back from the Ukraine conflict.

His answer stunned the room: “I think he may.”

He said one of President Trump’s greatest strengths is his unpredictability:

“He’s not following the playbook of every clown who’s been a bureaucrat for decades.”

This unpredictability, Trump Jr. argued, is exactly why America saw stronger foreign-policy results during Trump’s first term than under Biden or the D.C. establishment.

Europe Complains While America Pays the Bills

Trump Jr. also pushed back against European leaders who oppose Trump’s push for a negotiated settlement. He noted that European countries criticize Trump, yet have neither the ability nor the willingness to meaningfully fund Ukraine themselves.

“If we default to the old ways of America, it’s just going to be the big idiot with the checkbook. That’s not going to happen.”

His remarks follow the release of the Trump administration’s new National Security Strategy, which warns that Europe is in decline and can no longer rely on endless American financial support.

Hillary Clinton Lashes Out — Trump Jr. Fires Back

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also spoke at the event and attacked President Trump’s relationship with allies and his Ukraine strategy. She accused Trump of “supporting Russia” and “pressuring Ukraine” into peace talks.

Trump Jr. dismissed Clinton’s criticism by pointing out what conservatives already know:

Ukraine’s corruption has been documented for years — even before the war.

He described seeing supercars with Ukrainian plates in Monaco, while average Ukrainians suffer. Zelensky himself has faced multiple scandals, including the recent resignation of his own deputy.

Trump Jr. said Zelensky was transformed into a political “deity” by Western media—especially on the Left—who refuse to question his decisions.

Americans Are Not Focused on Ukraine

Trump Jr. said he has spoken to hundreds of thousands of Republican voters across the country, and Ukraine barely registers as a priority. Polls confirm the same thing:
✔ Inflation
✔ The border
✔ Crime
✔ Medicare and Social Security
✔ The economy

These remain the top concerns for conservative Americans—especially older voters.

Zelensky Thanks Trump — But Peace Still Far Away

Zelensky posted on X that Ukraine is still working “in good faith” with President Trump to pursue peace, thanking Trump for his “intensive approach to negotiations.”

But analysts warn peace is unlikely soon.

Russia still believes it has the advantage and is continuing its slow push across the Donbas region, making any agreement difficult.

For now, the war looks far from over—unless President Trump decides to take a bold new direction.
