Trump ICE Banned From This Hotel Chain

This is pathetic!

A Hilton-branded hotel in Minnesota is drawing national attention after allegedly canceling reservations connected to federal immigration officers, prompting questions about whether law enforcement personnel are being treated fairly by private businesses.

According to information shared publicly by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, staff at a Hampton Inn by Hilton property near Minneapolis informed guests that the hotel would not accommodate individuals associated with immigration enforcement.

Screenshots of emails posted online appear to show hotel staff explaining that reservations linked to the Department of Homeland Security would be canceled if they involved ICE or immigration-related duties. One message reportedly advised recipients to notify coworkers that immigration agents were not permitted to stay at the property.

A follow-up message allegedly stated that after reviewing publicly available information connected to a guest’s name, the hotel planned to cancel the reservation due to ties to immigration enforcement work.

The exchange was later shared by ICE on X, where the agency publicly questioned why federal law enforcement officers were being denied accommodations at the location.

The situation quickly gained traction online, leading Hilton to issue a response. A company spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the hotel involved is independently owned and operated, stressing that the reported actions do not reflect Hilton’s corporate policies or values.

Hilton added that it regularly works with government agencies and law enforcement organizations and is reviewing the matter with the individual hotel.

Officials at DHS strongly criticized the alleged cancellations. DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement that ICE agents play a critical role in protecting public safety and enforcing federal law, and that denying accommodations to law enforcement raises serious concerns.

The controversy comes as CBS News reported that the Donald Trump administration has increased the presence of DHS personnel in Minnesota as part of a broader federal response to an expanding fraud investigation in the state.

That deployment reportedly includes agents from ICE’s deportation division as well as Homeland Security Investigations.

For many Americans, particularly older voters, the incident highlights ongoing tensions between federal immigration enforcement and private institutions, raising broader questions about corporate neutrality, public safety, and support for the rule of law.
