The left is eating itself and it’s hilarious.
A fierce new feud is brewing within the Democratic Party — and this time, it’s one of their own doing the damage.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has sharply criticized progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), claiming their “Fighting Oligarchy” tour was more about boosting their personal brands than advancing the Democratic Party’s goals.
The blunt criticism came during a closed-door meeting with Rep. Maxine Dexter (D-OR), as Crockett campaigned to chair the powerful House Oversight Committee — a position long dominated by the Democrat establishment.
Dexter reportedly questioned Crockett about her ties to Democrat leadership, pointing to Ocasio-Cortez’s history of clashing with Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Crockett made it clear: she’s not looking to “burn down the party,” but she is willing to call out the radical left.
Crockett remarked that the rallies gave off the impression that the focus was on the individuals leading them rather than the broader team effort.
Socialist Showboating? AOC and Sanders Rake in Millions
While the rallies were pitched as a fight against billionaires and oligarchs, they turned out to be fundraising juggernauts.
Ocasio-Cortez raised a stunning $9.6 million in just three months — more than double her previous record. Meanwhile, Sanders pulled in $11.5 million during the same time frame, all while attacking capitalism on stage.
For all their talk of fighting the elite, it seems the biggest beneficiaries of this “anti-oligarchy” tour are AOC and Bernie themselves.
Party Cracks Widen Behind the Scenes
According to The Atlantic, Crockett’s comments have sparked anxiety among Democrat insiders. While few are willing to criticize her openly, staffers admit she can be a “loose cannon” who causes headaches.
“She likes to talk,” one senior staffer confessed. “Is she undisciplined? Sometimes. But no one wants to say it publicly.”
Crockett, 44, is known for her directness and flashy style — even keeping a glamour shot of herself as her phone lock screen. Despite the friction, she insists she has a “positive relationship” with Ocasio-Cortez. But actions speak louder than words.
Democrats in Disarray – And Republicans Are Watching
As the far-left continues to pull the Democrat Party further from reality, voices like Crockett’s may signal deeper fractures. With massive fundraising hauls and celebrity-style tours, AOC and Sanders seem more focused on power than principles.
For conservatives, the ongoing infighting is a reminder of just how extreme — and divided — today’s Democrats have become.
Will moderate Democrats push back, or has the party already surrendered to the socialist fringe?
