Newsom Fat Shames Trump

Liberals were shocked to hear Newsom’s words.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is under fire after mocking President Donald Trump’s weight, a move many conservatives say crosses the line of basic respect for the Commander-in-Chief.

The jab came just hours after Secretary of War Pete Hegseth gave a fiery address at Marine Corps Base Quantico, where he promised to restore discipline, strength, and toughness to the U.S. military.

Newsom’s Public Attack on Trump

Instead of focusing on policy, Newsom used the moment to take a personal swipe. On X (formerly Twitter), the governor sneered: “I guess the Commander in Chief needs to go!” — attaching an unflattering photo of Trump from a campaign stop.

The governor’s press office escalated the insult by posting an AI-generated image showing Trump with McDonald’s Big Macs and drone-delivered fast food, captioned in all caps: “IT’S COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE TO SEE A FAT COMMANDER IN CHIEF IN THE HALLS OF THE WHITE HOUSE!”

For many Americans, the stunt was not just juvenile — it was a disgraceful example of how Democrats prioritize cheap shots over serious leadership.

Hegseth’s Call for a Fitter, Stronger Military

While Newsom mocked, Hegseth laid down a serious warning to top military leaders.

“To be honest, it wears me out seeing overweight soldiers in formation,” he said. “And it’s equally wrong to have out-of-shape generals and admirals walking the halls of the Pentagon.”

Hegseth announced new standards requiring combat troops to meet the highest male fitness level in their service branch — no more watered-down, politically correct requirements.

“Standards must be uniform, gender-neutral, and high,” he said. “I don’t want my son serving under a leader who was the first, but not the best.”

Trump’s Push for a Warrior Ethos

President Trump has fully backed Hegseth’s military reforms, recently signing an executive order renaming the Defense Department as the Department of War.

The move signals a return to America’s traditional warrior ethos — a fighting force that exists to win wars, not to carry out social experiments or bow to woke ideology.

Trump made it clear: “The Department of War is going to stop wars. If we are as ruthless and relentless as our enemies, the United States will remain unmatched.”

The Contrast Couldn’t Be Clearer

While Trump and Hegseth focus on making America stronger, Gavin Newsom chooses to fat-shame and insult. For millions of Americans, it’s another reminder that Democrats are more interested in personal attacks than defending the nation.

In the end, voters will have to decide: do they want a Commander-in-Chief who restores strength, discipline, and respect for our military — or Democrat politicians who spend their time mocking and dividing?
