Schumer Kicked Out Of Democrat Party?

A civil war is erupting inside the Democratic Party — and the target this time is Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

A powerful far-left organization, Indivisible, funded in part by billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, has launched its largest-ever campaign to remove Schumer from leadership as Democrats struggle to end the government shutdown.

Soros-Funded Radicals Declare War on Schumer

“Chuck Schumer and a critical mass of Senate Democrats surrendered,” fumed Indivisible co-founder Ezra Levin in a fiery statement. “Instead of standing with the grassroots energy that swept Democrats into power, they caved — again.”

Levin announced Indivisible’s plan to “clean house” and challenge Schumer’s hold on the party. “This is no longer about them — it’s about us,” he said, framing the revolt as a fight between establishment Democrats and the party’s radical base.

Progressives Blame Schumer for ‘Surrender’ on Shutdown

Although Schumer technically opposed the bipartisan agreement to reopen the government after a 42-day lapse, progressives accuse him of failing to hold the line and of letting moderates “hand a victory” to President Trump.

A senior Democratic insider dismissed the group’s attacks, saying Indivisible “has threatened every Democrat from Hakeem Jeffries to Chuck Schumer, but to the voters who just want the government to work, Indivisible doesn’t matter. Their brand is toxic — Republicans love it when they start eating their own.”

Indivisible’s Long Record of Division

This isn’t Indivisible’s first attack on Democrat leadership. Earlier this year, the group blasted House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries for not defending radical Rep. Al Green (D-TX) after he was censured for disrupting President Trump’s address to Congress.

Schumer also faced backlash for voting to prevent another shutdown. Indivisible accused him of “surrendering to the GOP” and demanded he step down as the top Democrat in the Senate — a demand they’re now making central to their 2026 campaign endorsements.

Since 2017, Soros’ Open Society network has funneled over $7.6 million into Indivisible, according to public filings. The group says it’s now using that money to “rebuild” the Democratic Party — starting with replacing Schumer.

Left-Wing Candidates Join the Revolt

A handful of Democrats running for Senate are already jumping aboard the anti-Schumer bandwagon, including Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA), Iowa State Sen. Zach Wahls, and Maine’s Graham Platner.

Their calls echo the activist revolt against Nancy Pelosi in 2018 — a movement that failed when Pelosi regained the Speaker’s gavel after Democrats picked up 41 House seats. But insiders warn that Schumer could face an even deeper backlash now that the far-left has Soros’ money and momentum behind it.

“Time To Clean House,” Say The Radicals

“Democrats can’t defeat authoritarianism by running from the fight,” declared Leah Greenberg, another Indivisible co-founder. “We need leaders with backbone and conviction — not timidity and excuses.”

Conservatives say it’s proof the party has lost control of its base. “When George Soros is funding your revolution,” one GOP strategist said, “it’s not about democracy — it’s about domination.”
