In a move that has rocked the Democrat Party, Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema has left the party meaning there will now be one less Democrat in the Senate. Sinema will now continue to work on Congress as an Independent.
According to Fox, Senator Sinema’s decision to leave the party causes big problems for Democrat Majority Leader Chuck Schumer who is working to organize the Senate before the next Congressional sessions starts back up in January.
After her announcing her decision to leave the Democrat party, Sinema explained, “I don’t anticipate that anything will change about the Senate structure. I intend to show up to work, do the same work that I always do. I just intend to show up to work as an independent.”
The most critical question about all of this is who Sinema will caucus with. If she continues to caucus with the Democrats, Schumer will get to keep a 51-49 seat majority in the Senate.
The mainstream media and liberals raged after learning about Sinema’s decision.
MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan attacked her and said, “In the most shocking, surprising, and unexpected news in modern American political history, Senator Kyrsten Sinema is leaving the Democratic Party, which makes sense because 1) she was never really a Democrat, and 2) she can’t win a Dem primary in 2024. So Sinema being Sinema…”
MSNBC host Keith Olbermann also attacked her saying, “You are ethically unfit to continue serving as a United States Senator – manipulative, deceptive, messianic, without principles. I urge you to resign your office immediately.”
Why are these news reporters so upset about the news? Should they just be reporting the facts?
