Trump wants change and he wants it fast.

President Donald Trump made a bold announcement on Thursday during his address at the National Prayer Breakfast, revealing that he is directing newly appointed Attorney General Pam Bondi to eliminate “anti-Christian bias” within the federal government.

The president emphasized the importance of protecting religious freedoms, declaring, “The task force’s mission is clear: to end any and all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination in the federal government.” He further added that the group’s role will be to aggressively pursue justice against acts of anti-Christian violence and vandalism while safeguarding the rights of Christians and religious believers across the nation.

Trump also made it clear that this was an unprecedented move, stating, “This is the first time you’ve had something like this. And let me be clear, if we lose our religious liberty, we lose the very fabric of our country.”

The president charged that under the leadership of former President Joe Biden, the Department of Justice, FBI, and IRS had taken part in discriminatory practices against Christians. This announcement comes just days after President Trump granted pardons to 23 pro-life activists who had been convicted of blocking abortion clinic entrances. These actions highlight Trump’s ongoing commitment to standing up for pro-life values and defending religious freedom.

In addition to this task force, Trump revealed plans to establish a new Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty, along with a Faith Office within the White House. He assured the American people, “We will stand for Christians in our schools, our military, government, workplaces, and public spaces. We will unite this nation under God with liberty and justice for all.”

The president also spoke personally about his own faith journey, citing how he believes divine intervention played a role in saving his life after a near-fatal assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. “Without God, we are isolated,” Trump shared. “But with God, all things are possible.”

With these steps, President Trump reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the moral foundation of America, ensuring that the nation continues to uphold the principles of religious liberty and freedom for all.
