Trump Cancels Easter?

Democrats and the media are trying very hard to pin all of Biden’s mistakes on Trump but real patriots know the truth.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins delivered some positive news to American consumers struggling with sky-high egg prices, revealing on FOX Business that the price of eggs has dropped by an average of $1.85 per dozen. This reduction, while certainly welcome, follows the Trump administration’s multi-faceted plan rolled out on February 26th, designed to help bring down the cost of eggs and other essential goods.

In her interview on “Mornings with Maria,” Rollins credited this price decrease to the administration’s proactive approach to addressing the underlying causes of the rising prices. The plan included strategic steps like short-term imports of eggs, deregulation to cut through red tape, investments in biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks, and the repopulation of poultry stocks. Additionally, research into vaccines and therapeutic treatments is a crucial part of the strategy to ensure that the supply chain remains strong and resilient in the long term.

However, Rollins also reminded viewers that combating the Avian bird flu is an ongoing effort. While progress has been made, there’s still work to be done before the nation is completely free of the disease that has wreaked havoc on the poultry industry.

With Easter approaching, Rollins acknowledged that there may be another spike in egg prices as demand surges during the holiday season. “We’re entering the high-price season, but thankfully, we are seeing some improvement,” she explained, stressing that the administration’s efforts are paying off, even if the relief is temporary.

Despite these challenges, Rollins reassured Americans that the administration remains committed to tackling the problem head-on. “We’ve made progress, but we’re far from done,” she said. The drop in egg prices is a step in the right direction, but the work to ensure affordable food for hardworking American families continues.
