As Trump prepares his 2024 presidential campaign, it now appears that Trump’s campaign team is expected to focus heavily on the five states which flipped and gave President Biden the win in 2020.
According to Politico, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin flipped in favor of President Biden and give him 73 electoral votes, which was enough to give Biden the Electoral College victory.
Trump’s shadow campaign also held a poll in all five states to see Trump’s chances of winning in 2024. Surprisingly, the polling information showed Trump DEFEATING Biden in 2024. Trump led Biden by +8 points in Arizona, +3 points Georgia, +12 points Michigan, +6 points Pennsylvania, and +10 points in Wisconsin.
This information is a CLEAR indication to Democrats that Trump has not lost his grip on the Republican party is the still their top choice heading into 2024.
“Poll after poll clearly demonstrates that former President Donald Trump is still the 800-pound gorilla in the GOP and would be its 2024 nominee should he run,” GOP pollster Tony Fabrizio noted.
Since taking office, President Biden has been weighed down by problem after problem and Americans are upset. Inflation is ravaging middle to lower class America, gas prices are at an all time high and Biden fumbled badly with the Afghanistan evacuation.
