Where is Joe Biden?

Earlier this week, Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota made a noteworthy announcement regarding her plans to deploy numerous National Guard troops to the southern border. This decision aims to provide support to Governor Greg Abbott, a fellow Republican, as he addresses the ongoing immigration crisis.

According to Fox, Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota, in an official press release, revealed her intention to dispatch a contingent of “at least 50” South Dakota National Guard members to the southern border. This deployment is scheduled to take place during the upcoming summer months.

“The border crisis is growing worse under President Biden’s willful inaction. Across the country, crime rates, drug overdoses and human trafficking have all skyrocketed, because our border remains a warzone,” Noem explained.

Expressing her confidence in the capabilities of the National Guard, Governor Kristi Noem stated, “Our National Guard soldiers are the best prepared to tackle this challenge. They have proven that they can serve with excellence in a situation such as this, and I am confident that they will do so again.”

In the press release, Governor Noem’s participation was described as “answering the call,” as she joins a group of 12 other governors who have pledged to send troops to the border in order to support Governor Abbott’s ongoing efforts in addressing the border situation.

In 2021, Governor Noem fulfilled Governor Abbott’s request by deploying National Guard troops to the border for a period of 30 to 60 days. This decision reflected her commitment to supporting Abbott’s initiatives concerning the border situation.
