Trump’s ICE Prepares To Invade Major Blue City

Trump and his border czar are not playing games.

In a bold new move to restore law and order, President Donald Trump’s immigration chief, Tom Homan, announced Monday that federal ICE agents are gearing up for major operations in New York City—whether liberal politicians like it or not.

Speaking from the White House, Homan directly addressed socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, who has promised to block ICE enforcement if elected this November.

“Good luck with that,” Homan said. “We’re coming to New York City, and we’re going to double down—triple down—on sanctuary cities that harbor criminals.”

Homan made clear that the focus isn’t political—it’s about public safety. “These sanctuary cities are releasing violent offenders, drug traffickers, and even national security threats back into our communities. That puts everyday Americans in danger.”

Mamdani, a far-left Democrat who stunned the establishment by defeating former Governor Andrew Cuomo in the primary, has repeatedly slammed ICE as a “rogue agency.” In a recent interview on NBC’s Meet the Press, he claimed his administration would push ICE out of the city and blasted the NYPD for assisting in the lawful arrest of a migrant and detaining a disruptive pastor.

President Trump responded by warning that if Mamdani actively interferes with federal immigration enforcement, there could be serious consequences—even possible arrest.

As expected, Mamdani cried foul, calling Trump’s position “an attack on democracy” and accusing the administration of “intimidation tactics.” But Trump supporters see it differently: a leader standing up for the rule of law.

Incumbent Mayor Eric Adams has worked with the Trump administration on key immigration matters, a position Mamdani has aggressively criticized. But ICE isn’t waiting to see who wins.

“We’re going to flood the zone,” Homan said. “If local jails won’t cooperate, we’ll make arrests in neighborhoods, on job sites, wherever we need to. The criminals will be removed—one way or another.”

Homan emphasized that law-abiding citizens have nothing to fear. “This is about protecting American families. If you’re not going to help us do that, then get out of the way—we’re coming through.”
