This is a mess.
Thanks to President Biden it has now been discovered that a progressive group, that openly refers to immigration agencies as a “threat,” were able to obtain a $158 million taxpayer-funded contract to help illegals avoid deportation!
According to Fox, President Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) shockingly gave the Vera Institute of Justice the contract last year.
The Vera Institute of Justice also supports the “Defund the Police” movement as well.
Investigative associate with the Immigration Reform Law Institute, Jason Hopkins, stated, “The Vera Institute of Justice is a behemoth progressive nonprofit based out of New York City with well over a $140 million budget, which they use to fund a slate of progressive causes and initiatives across the country. Whether that be criminal justice reform, bail reform and also immigration.”
What’s even more shocking is that from June 2019 to June 2020, $137 million of the group’s $174 million budget came from the government giving them YOUR tax dollars.
“The $158 million is just the latest in the hundreds of millions that they provided to Vera for their services,” Hopkins further explained.
Now, not only is President Biden and his administration leaving the border completely open to let anyone enter the United States, he is now funding non profit groups to help keep these illegals in the U.S.
