This is actually unbelievable.
We have always known that former President Donald Trump and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell have butted heads. However, to see this much hate for Donald Trump is quite disturbing.
It has now been revealed that not only was McConnell upset about the January 6th Capitol protest, but he was personally “exhilarated” that Trump’s name was tarnished.
According to the Huffington Post, the shocking discovery was made by New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin in his new and upcoming book.
“I feel exhilarated by the fact that this fellow finally, totally discredited himself,” McConnell shockingly told Martin.
“He put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger,” McConnell shockingly said after the riot took place. “Couldn’t have happened at a better time.”
If these allegations against McConnell are true then it is deeply concerning that McConnell personally felt this way about the then-President Donald Trump. If these claims are true McConnell should resign from the Republican party.
